About Stephen

Stephen has great experience advising individuals on their income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax position. He helps to lead a team providing high-quality advice in a clear and concise manner.

He is particularly strong advising on international aspects.  This includes:

• advising clients who are either coming to or leaving the UK;
• non-UK domiciled individuals and the special rules that apply to them; as well as
• the complex anti-avoidance rules applying to individuals with offshore structures (offshore trusts and/or foreign companies); and
• those who have inadvertently been caught up in this rules and require assistance in bringing their affairs up-to-date.

Stephen began his career with a small firm in a mixed tax role, before focusing on personal tax and joining a Big 4 firm who he was with for over 13 years, which included secondments in London and dealing with high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals.
